----xXxYou could be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare The warm sensation felt lovely on the young woman's cheeks and she carressed the grey muzzle. Alicia's short brown hair waved slightly in the cold breeze as the grey mare snorted gently, tossing her head as she took a few steps back, away from Alicia as she cantered across the chilled grass to her feed bucket. "Thank you, Cindy!" Alicia waved warmly to the young girl who helped out at the Academy with feeding and watering the horses. Turning, she made her way to the edge of the paddock, swining her legs around to sit on the white fence, watching Chey as she lifted her head and whinnied to one of the horses in the paddock next to her's. Things were looking positive for the Academy, but she had to admit that she wasn't too impressed by the lack of students.. Especially the male applicants. Sighing in thought, she closed her eyes and tried to block out the cold chill of the early afternoon breeze. Either way I don't wanna wake up from youxXx----

Taylor walked quietly through the dark woods, his tall, dark bay stallion following him obediantely along the path beside him. So far, Taylor had approved the academy and it's facilities, but he was a bit worried about being the only guy at the school. "Oh well," He said to himself, half spooking gaspereau, who side-stepped several paces away fromthe teenage boy. "Oh. Sorry Reau!" He said as he halted the stallion to scratch his forehead under his forelock. Laughing as Gaspereau head-butted him playfully, he patted the horse's neck and continued on down the path. As they emerged into the sunlight, the cold wind bite violently at Taylor's fingers, whipping the boy's wavy blonde hair around his neck. "It sure is chilly, huh boy? Just think, tommorrow we'll be riding out there in that big cross-country course!" He was ecstatic, and from the moment he had set eyes on the riding facilities he couldn't wait to try them out. As he led his horse up to his paddock, he spotted a figure perched on the fence to the first paddock. As he approached, he recognised her as Alicia Atwood, the Academy Manager. "Hey there! How's a going?" He asked as he walked with his horse to the paddock across the path and opened the gate. Taking off Gaspereau's halter, he turned and closed the gate behind him, watching in amusemant as the large stallion jumped up and galloped away, full of energy. That long trailer ride must have given him tons of rest.

----xXxYou could be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare Turning at the sound of a voice, Alicia opened her eyes to see a blonde haired boy walking her way, leading his tall bay stallion. He called a warm greeting to her from the paddock across the path from where her mare was grazing contentedly, and Alica couldn't help but smile at how welcoming this young man was. "Why hello there, Taylor. I'm fine thanks for asking... How is Gaspereau adjusting to this cold weather?" See knew from when he had applied that Taylor had lived in a warmer climat and that his horse might act up a little for the first few days at the academy. And also, it wasn't hard to know who it was even though she had just barely met him, because he was the only boy at the academy so far. Standing up, she walked over to where he was standing and smiled warmly. "How are things with you? Is everything going alright so far?" She asked him, watching as Chey stood, her ears perked forward in the direction of the stallion's paddock, her eyes following him as he tore around the pasture. "I know that it must be hard for you, without having any guys around. But I'm sure there'll be more boys who decide to accept." Either way I don't wanna wake up from youxXx----

Turning to head back over to where Alicia had stood up beside the fence, he smiled as he hung up the lead rope on a hook by the paddock gate. "I'm sure that he finds it really frigid here, but He'll be fine in a little while. He's just gotta blow off some steam from the ride here.." He replied to her first question, chuclkling under his breath as he leaned up against the fecne beside her, watching his horse slow down for a few seconds to swig a few mouthfulls of water before heading off for another round of the spacious pasture. he knew that he and Gaspereau were going to have an amazing time here at Willow Creek, wheather or not there were any more boys for him to hang-out with... "Yah, it's kinda wierd, being the only guy here, but I'm getting used to it... slowly." he listened to her next question silently, thinking to himself. He and reau were both facing some pretty big chalanges, but hey, what good experience doesn't chalange you? Taylor knew that they were both going to get alot of experiance out of this whole deal, and he was happy knowing that. "Well, I met this great girl at the pool the other day, when it was warmer out. Vanessa Cross, you heard of her?" He asked her, knowing that she must know her vaguely, considering the number of enrolled students.

Ahh, yes. Wonderful girl, that Vannessa. You didn't swim did you? it's frigid out.
She laughed easily as she was joined at the fence by the young boy. What an amazing stallion that Gaspereau was, coming all this way to be a very special part of Willow Creek Academy, and Taylor too. Alicia was always glad to see young men a part of the english sport, as you didn't really see too many teens doing it.
So, are you going to go to the Winter Social? It's going to be quite something!
She hoped that she could get as many of the students to go and meet each other, she sensed the familiar tension sometimes when she walked through the main dormitories, though it was natural for the first little while.
Perhaps you'll meet even more great friends there, and maybe a few guys will show up too.
She winked, knowing that at least one had arrived earlier in the week, and though he rode western, she was hoping that they would be able to relate themselves to one another in some way.

Hmm... Maybe. I'm not usually one for Dances and such, but if it means meeting a few new people than I'll go for it.
He smiled as he spoke, hoping that she was right that he would meet a couple of new students that he could call friends after a while. As well as meeting people, Taylor really wanted to see how his horse would react to the coldness of the indoor without his winter blankets on. He imagined that he would be freezing, especially since he was clipped for the winter competition season.
So, when do Show Jumping Lessons start? I'm so eager to see how Reau goes in this weather.
He laughed, picturing his stallion skittering around in the cold, his feet dancing as he tried to keep warm. He would try to remember to get the quarter sheet out before the ride and put it on. He was sure that Alicia wouldn't mind him wearing it, especially since his horse wasn't used to the cold like most of the other horses at the academy.

This week sometime for sure.
She smiled, standing up. Looking up, she watched the grey sky, sure that they were just packed with more snow, just waht they needed right now. Checking her watch she straightened up, deciding that she'd better be going soon to check on the other horses that were being kept in the barn for tonight.
Well, Taylor I suppose that I'd better be going. It was nice talking to you.
She smiled as she took a few steps away from the fence, blowing a kiss in Chey's direction, laughing as the mare raised her head, ears pricked towards the kissing noise as she watched Alicia make her way towards the woods.
