Opened by Roger Moore, an ex- olympian on the canadian olympic team and four-time gold medalist, Pullett's Creek stables was always a high-class boarding barn that had an unstoppable competitive team. It hired only the best of grooms and instructors, and was- still is- a beautiful stable.
It was formerly Roger's private stable in his hometown, but when it opened to boarders it became a great asset to the microscopic town of Pullett's Creek, Nova Scotia, where everyone benefited. There were jobs for those who could afford groom's training, the store-owners' sales jumped, and the Co-op and tack stores were reeling with pleasure at all the sales.
Long after the passing or Roger Moore and his own horses, it was kept up by his son Oscar Moore- who offered riding lessons to non-boarders on the resident horses as another option. With the generation passing, the boarders became reckless, wayward young adults, the staff even more so. Who knew that the equestrian world was so dramatic?
